Position Title: Data Analyst (Information Technology)

Department: Engineering

Location: Santa Ana, CA 

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time 


Job Summary: 

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support IT operations and business decision-making. This role works closely with IT and cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve system performance, and provide actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities: 

Collect, clean, and analyze data from IT systems and business applications 

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations 

Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement 

Support IT projects by providing data insights and analysis 

Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and requirements 

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security standards are maintained 

Document processes, data definitions, and reporting methods


Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field 

2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an IT environment 

Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) 

Understanding of databases and data structures 


Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment 

Ability to view computer screens for extended periods 

Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, or lift up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., office equipment or files) 

Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing
