Job Profile Summary:
The Data Analysis Professional sits within Devon Energy's Supply Chain organization, delivering data-driven insights-primarily peer benchmarking and competitive analysis-that inform strategic and operational decisions. The role also supports development of the Supply Chain technology roadmap, partners closely with subject matter experts and functional leaders to identify value creation opportunities, and proactively develops new methods to retrieve, visualize, automate, and analyze data across operational, geological, and financial sources.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain peer benchmarking programs across production, capital efficiency, LOE and operating costs, supply chain/procurement performance, and asset-level metrics.
• Build dashboards, reports, and advanced analyses (statistical modeling, peer valuation, basin and cost comparisons) that surface trends and inform team- and department-level decisions.
• Support the Supply Chain technology roadmap by partnering with leadership and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and evaluate analytics and technology solutions.
• Build and document ad hoc and recurring queries to answer increasingly complex business questions.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and M&A/divestiture evaluations with external benchmarking insights.
• Identify best practices and improvement opportunities; develop executive presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent benchmarking methodologies and enhance analytical datasets, visualizations, and tools.
• Investigate, document, and resolve complex data issues, coordinating with internal and external data owners on sustainable solutions.
• Develop and deploy GenAI-powered tools to automate recurring analyses and reporting; pilot and iterate on process improvements.

Education:
