Land Surveyor in Training

What You'll Do:


Assist in conducting boundary, topographic, construction, and route surveys

Operate GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and data collectors in the field

Support field crews with setups, measurements, and site documentation

Analyze field data and draft survey maps and reports using CAD and GIS tools

Work under the supervision of licensed surveyors to complete diverse surveying projects

Collaborate with engineers, planners, and clients to deliver high-accuracy results

Ensure field safety, equipment care, and data integrity in every environment

What You Bring:


Bachelor's degree or associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field

Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification

Familiarity with surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, levels) and CAD software

Willingness to work in the field (sometimes in remote or rugged terrain)

A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to take feedback like a champ
