Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst Mid to support mission-focused programs in Huntsville. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing data analysis, developing reporting solutions, and working directly with technical and functional teams to gather and define data requirements. The Data Analyst Mid will support data-driven decision making through analysis, visualization, documentation, and reporting activities in secure environments.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL.
  • Work independently with cross-functional teams to gather, define, and document data analysis requirements.
  • Create and maintain data documentation, data dictionaries, and analytical procedures.
  • Utilize Python/R for Statistical scripting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data processes and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software.
  • Facilitate the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing.
  • Use the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies when needed.
  • Establish an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data.
  • Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security. 
  • Design and construct large relational databases. 
  • Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of Data Pipelines & Warehousing (ETL/ELT).
  • Knowledge of Statistical Scripting such as Python/R.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Data Querying such as SQL.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Data pipelines and data transformation.
  • Experience with Cribl.
