We are pleased to announce the opening for a Data and Metrics Analyst who will join our Mission Engineering team at the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC) / On-site and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for data analytics, workflow automation, and mission assurance decision support.
Key Responsibilities: * Process Analysis & Optimization
* Map existing mission assurance business processes (e.g., risk management, readiness reporting, test planning, corrective actions, configuration/status tracking).
* Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for automation, data integration, and standardization.
* Develop future-state process designs that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and shorten decision cycles.
* Automation Design & Development
* Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using tools, scripting, and integrations (e.g., PowerBi, SharePoint, PowerApps, Automate, or similar tools per customer environment).
* Build workflows, forms, dashboards, and automations that support:
* Mission assurance status tracking and reporting
* Risk and issue management workflows
* Corrective action plans and closure tracking
* Data collection and validation from multiple sources/systems
* Integrate data from disparate systems and repositories (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, databases, mission systems interfaces where appropriate and allowed).
* Data & Reporting
* Develop automated reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making and mission readiness reviews.
* Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of mission assurance data.
* Support periodic and ad hoc data calls with reusable, scalable reporting solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
* Work closely with mission assurance leads, analysts, and operators to translate requirements into technical solutions.
* Gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and provide training and user documentation.
* Promote user adoption through clear communication, demonstrations, and continuous improvement.
* Compliance, Security & Governance
* Ensure all automation solutions comply with applicable cybersecurity, configuration management, and records management policies.
* Document processes, configurations, and changes in accordance with government and contract standards.
* Support audits, inspections, and reviews by providing transparent documentation and traceability.Basic Qualifications: * You must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
* You will need at least 7 years of full-time professional experience.
* You must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance.
* You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position. Specific degree and experience requirements may be waived with government approval of a Labor Category Waiver. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* 3+ years of experience in business process analysis, workflow automation, or a similar role.
* Experience designing, building, and deploying automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
* Experience with SharePoint lists, workflows, and sites.
* Experience with ServiceNow, Nintex, or other workflow automation tools.
* Experience integrating data from Excel, SharePoint, databases, or approved mission-system interfaces.
* Experience developing reusable dashboards and reporting solutions for leadership decision-making and mission readiness reviews.
* Experience supporting user adoption through requirements gathering, demonstrations, training, documentation, and continuous improvement.
