DAS stands for Distributed Antenna System, and DAS professionals are specialists who design, install, and maintain these systems. A Distributed Antenna System is a network of spatially separated antennas connected to a common source, used to improve wireless coverage inside buildings or in dense urban areas. DAS professionals work with both hardware and software to ensure reliable cellular and wireless connectivity in places where signal strength is weak. They collaborate with building owners, telecom companies, and engineers to optimize signal distribution and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Their expertise is crucial for environments like stadiums, hospitals, airports, and office buildings.
