COMPANY OVERVIEW: MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS, a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis, cockpit and front-end module), core system, eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering, autonomous driving, infotainment, component modules, safety, brake and steering systems, lamp, ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly motivated IT Security professional to strengthen our cybersecurity operations and ensure the protection of our systems, data, and infrastructure. This role combines hands-on security operations, governance oversight, and cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving both daily security activities and long-term improvements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:

Security Operations

  • Operate SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, and other security tools.
  • Administer firewall rules, VPN, and secure remote access.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, patch management, and backup integrity checks.
  • Monitor email and network traffic for threats and anomalies.

Incident Response

  • Lead incident response and crisis coordination.
  • Conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, and prepare incident reports.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.

Access & Identity Management

  • Manage provisioning/deprovisioning for IT systems.
  • Perform access reviews and secure offboarding checks.
  • Enforce document classification and secure printing controls.

Training & Awareness

  • Deliver and support employee cybersecurity education programs.

BCP / DR Support

  • Assist with IT on DR planning and execute periodic testing.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
  • Stress may occur periodically.


Requirements:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience required.
  • Certifications: Security+, CySA+ required
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • Preferred MS degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity.
  • Preferred Certifications: GSEC, CEH, SSCP, CISSP

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS/ REQUIRMENTS:

  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, TiSAX, NIST, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

PREFERED EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:

  • Experience with incident response
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
