Role Overview
The Manager, Marketing Operations supports the Director in building a high-performing, future-ready marketing organization. This role strengthens the marketing function by improving processes, systems, data visibility, and operational discipline. It combines marketing operations, MarTech management, and capability building to ensure marketing teams work efficiently, make data-driven decisions, and deliver consistent, high-quality output.
The ideal candidate streamlines workflows, enhances measurement, and leverages AI/GenAI to automate tasks, reduce costs, optimize marketing execution and elevate customer experiences. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and essential to enabling the Marketing organization transformations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and optimize operational processes by developing comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity, scalability, and high-quality execution.
  • Manage the configuration, permissions, governance, auditing, and documentation of the MarTech stack, including conducting regular platform audits to evaluate performance, adoption, and opportunities for consolidation or automation.
  • Support in developing, maintaining, and executing a multi-year Marketing Operations and MarTech roadmap aligned to business priorities and marketing transformation goals.
  • Define, implement, and operationalize marketing standards, frameworks, and operating models to drive consistency, scalability, and efficiency across teams.
  • Leverage AI/GenAI to improve productivity and reduce costs by automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows, minimizing manual intervention across marketing operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional marketing activities, facilitating clear timelines, resource planning, and KPI tracking across teams.
  • Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and management of marketing expenditures.
  • Facilitate training for marketing teams on processes, platforms, governance, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, data governance, and accessibility standards (GDPR, CCPA, WCAG).
  • Leverage Power BI dashboards, Google Analytics, and Excel for performance analysis, operational visibility, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with various functions within the marketing team and across departments throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, MarTech, or digital systems.
  • 4+ years of experience driving marketing operational efficiency through process design, workflow optimization, and governance, including hands-on management of MarTech platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience applying AI/GenAI capabilities to improve efficiency and enhance marketing effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, or Business, or Digital Technology, Analytics or a related field.
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience working in a role closely related to marketing operations, MarTech, or digital systems.
  • Experience in marketing analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with DAM, workflow tools, CRM, marketing automation platforms, CMS, and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to support transformation and capability-building initiatives, thriving in ambiguous environments and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and effective collaboration skills; capable of influencing and partnering across marketing, IT, finance, analytics, and external agencies.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
