Job description

Trans Ova Genetics is looking for a driven, relationship focused sales professional to provide reproductive strategies for development, growth, and profitability to the dairy industry across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.ย 

In this role, you will acquire and retain key accounts by delivering reproductive and genetic strategies that boost herd performance and client profitability. Working closely with our Lead Dairy Consultant, you will analyze herd data, support Regional Business Managers, and serve as the go to dairy expert in a region full of opportunity.ย 

You will represent Trans Ova in both internal collaboration and across the URUS Group in order to identify market opportunities and build strong partnerships with producers, veterinarians, nutritionists, and industry influencers. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify marketing opportunities, represent Trans Ova at industry events, and participate in crossselling with URUS brands.ย 
  • Develop annual Key Account plans with the Regional Business Manager and Commercial Operations Team, including analysis, forecasting, and growth strategies.ย 
  • Deliver longterm, consultative solutions that integrate Trans Ova services into dairy clients' operations.ย 
  • Support Regional Business Managers in creating reproductive and genetic strategies that align with client profitability goals.ย 
  • Use a consultative sales approach to assess client needs, build trust, and strengthen longterm partnerships.ย 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and the Sales Director on client profiling, relationshipbuilding efforts, and targeted valueadded programs.ย 
  • Coordinate team-based selling activities, optimize outreach cycles, and ensure consistent follow-up with key accounts.ย 
  • Serve as the regional dairy expert, sharing insights across teams, building industry relationships, and delivering impactful educational presentations.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Dairy science / Dairy Business Management or relatable industry experience required.ย 
  • Ability to travel extensively required (>70%).ย 

OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related sales and/or marketing experience in the dairy industry is required.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and proficiency with a computer including Excel, Power Point, and Word required.ย 
  • High degree of professionalism.ย 
  • Experience with a CRM is a plus.
