Typical daily responsibilities on a dairy goat farm include feeding and caring for the goats, performing regular milking, cleaning and maintaining barns and equipment, and monitoring the health and wellbeing of the herd. You may also be involved in maintaining farm records, assisting with breeding, and helping process or package goat milk or related products. The work often follows an early morning and late afternoon schedule to meet milking needs, and teamwork is essential during busy periods or emergencies. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and day‑to‑day operational leadership across all operations at multi restaurants on the resort — including agriculture, greenhouse production, goat dairy and creamery, artisan bakery, restaurant, wine program, retail, and immersive agritourism guest experiences
  • Own the full financial performance driving P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, inventory controls, and capital investment decisions to achieve and exceed profitability and operational excellence goals at this world‑class Wyoming ranch resort
  • Lead growth, innovation, and sustainability initiatives across all restaurant departments — positioning the ranch as a national leader in luxury seed‑to‑table hospitality and agritourism guest experiences
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams across a diverse, multi‑department Farm operation — fostering a culture of collaboration, craftsmanship, accountability, and genuine passion for the land and the guest experience
  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators across profitability, operational efficiency, product quality, and guest satisfaction — continuously elevating the experience to meet resort guest expectations and Relais & Châteaux luxury standards
  • Serve as the primary ambassador for the restaurants and staff — building meaningful relationships with guests, ranch ownership, community partners, local producers, and the broader luxury hospitality and agritourism community
Qualifications
  • 5 to 10+ years of progressive leadership experience — including senior operations, general management, agritourism general manager, food and beverage director, or director‑level responsibilities in a complex, multi‑department hospitality, food and beverage, agritourism, or experiential business environment — required
  • Proven success leading multi‑department operations with full accountability for financial performance, operational results, and team development — experience in luxury resort, ranch resort, farm‑to‑table restaurant management, or agritourism operations strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen across P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, and inventory control — with a track record of driving profitability in a complex, high‑touch luxury hospitality environment
  • Deep experience in hospitality, food and beverage, agriculture, culinary arts, Director of Agriculture responsibilities, or other experiential businesses — a background that spans multiple disciplines is a significant advantage for this uniquely multi‑faced luxury ranch general manager role
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills — you inspire teams, earn the trust of ownership and partners, and represent a world‑class Relais & Châteaux luxury ranch brand with authenticity and presence
  • A genuine passion for agriculture, sustainability, craftsmanship, and luxury guest experiences — you don't just manage, you believe in what it stands for.
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for a live‑on‑property or nearby rural Wyoming lifestyle — this role is immersed in the land, the seasons, and the rhythms of ranch life; relocation assistance is available for the right candidate
