The company opened its doors in 2010 and since then has grown to over 79 sites, employing award-winning editors and local reporters in towns across three states. We reach nearly 2 million people a month and we recently expanded into Orange County, N.Y. We live and work in the communities we serve, and our readers turn to us to find the latest local news and events about and in their towns. We understand how people want to connect, and we help them understand what's going on in their communities.
Job Description
This employee-owned company acts like a startup but operates with the advantages of an experienced company. As we continue to grow our business, we are looking for a digital media seller to be part of our dynamic, growing team. If you believe in the power of community and you're a self starter with a strong understanding of digital media, then you're a great candidate for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Promote Daily Voice through content partnerships and other advertising products
  • Develop relationships and understand client needs to maximize their satisfaction
  • Travel throughout the suburbs north of New York City for prospecting and lead development
  • Knowledge of Non-Profits a plus

Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years experience selling digital media, with an understanding of content marketing
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM system with knowledge of digital markets
  • A team player who is an industrious go-getter and highly motivated
  • Able to adapt to changes and discern priorities
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
