Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day operation of assigned rooms/sites, including the development of daily schedules. Works closely with Direct Support Professionals, Program Supervisor and Manager to ensure that services and activities are implemented, documented and provided in accordance with program plans. Meets regularly with Program Supervisor to assess the effectiveness of assignments to ensure that participant needs are being addressed and appropriate services are being provided.
  • Provides appropriate instruction and direction to all Direct Support Professionals assigned to designated sites, to ensure correct implementation of individual program plans and smooth operation of room. Meets regularly with room staff persons, to discuss program and performance issues. Provides input on performance appraisals. May conduct team meetings, in the absence of the Program Supervisor.
  • Provides hands-on assistance, instruction and training to individuals which will enable them to develop and/or acquire skills in various aspects of daily living to include communication, social, recreational, and leisure activities, self or personal care, household management, travel, work related or vocational opportunities, money management, etc., in accordance with individualized plan of service.

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred and one year of relevant experience or equivalent amount of education/and or experience
