Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies designed to address clients' specific mental health needs.
• Complete all necessary clinical documentation promptly to comply with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and continuity of care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools during the evaluation process to enhance treatment outcomes in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Collaborate with various interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans that reflect the needs of each client.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance with external requirements and uphold the quality of care.
• Establish relationships with various service systems, state agencies, and community organizations to fortify the clinic's network of resources.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to advocate for the mission of Grace Hospital and foster community engagement.
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional development, including attending workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings relevant to mental health practices.
• Promote and integrate the core values and principles of Grace Hospital into daily operations and interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to further the clinic’s objectives.

The clients you will work with represent a diverse demographic, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from brain injuries. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.
• The candidate must possess an active, independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Florida.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and the ability to prepare detailed reports based on therapeutic sessions.
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to express ideas clearly to clients and colleagues alike.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and make independent decisions that support client welfare.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or with similar patient populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and virtual counseling platforms is a plus, enhancing your ability to connect with clients remotely.
• Experience with diverse treatment modalities and evidence-based practices specific to mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
