Job description

Salary: 800/week

Breakthroughs LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend Live-In Caregiver to support male adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This position focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment while encouraging community involvement, independence, and meaningful social interaction


Schedule:

  • Shift begins: Friday at 5:00 PM
  • Shift ends: Sunday at 5:00 PM

Accommodations:

  • A sofa bed is provided for overnight stay during the weekend shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) based on individual needs.
  • Assist with meal preparation and daily household routines.
  • Accompany and support individuals during community outings and recreational activities.
  • Engage residents in fun weekend activities, including WWE Night, movie nights, and shared meals.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive living environment.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in care.

What Were Looking For:

  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate individuals.
  • Ability to provide hands-on care and emotional support.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:

    • APD certifications (or willingness to obtain, depending on agency requirements)
    • Level 2 background screening (or ability to pass)
    • Experience with developmental disabilities is a plus
    • Dependable, patient, and attentive
