Join Our Team as a Full-Time Produce Manager - Port Washington, NY
Are you passionate about fresh fruits and vegetables and have the leadership skills to run a busy produce department? Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is seeking a Full-Time Produce Manager to lead our high-quality Produce Department in our Port Washington store! Become part of a collaborative, fast-paced team where your expertise in produce, team management, and customer service will shine!
What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Produce Department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and product returns
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend purchase orders to keep shelves fully stocked
  • Train staff in store policies, procedures, and excellent customer service techniques
  • Analyze sales data, conduct audits, and make recommendations to improve department performance
  • Maintain high-quality displays and ensure the freshest produce is available for our customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of Produce Management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
