Job description

In-office role, five days a week in Tyrone, Georgia

About Harbinger

Harbinger Marketing is in-house marketing, outsourced. We serve our partners as their entire marketing department — designers, developers, copywriters, and specialists in social media, video, photography, branding, and brand messaging, working alongside search, paid advertising, review generation, and listing management. Business owners who are ready to grow hire us instead of building a limited in-house team, and we build them a customized plan that tells their story and drives the growth they've been craving.

Why this role matters

This is the front door to everything we do — and it's far more than "making calls and setting demos." You are the person who sets up our Strategic Partnerships Managers to succeed (the team who actually run the demo meetings). When you hand off a meeting, they should walk in with the right owner, the correct contact, and real context about the business. The quality of their meeting starts with the quality of your call.

How we are different

In a world where business owners are used to a generic, scripted, overseas-sounding sales calls, our job is to be the opposite. We call a high volume of owners every day, but every call is intentional and understandable. Before we dial, we take the time to understand the business we're calling, and we come prepared to actually answer questions on that call. This is never about memorizing a script and pushing through it — it's about genuinely caring, putting yourself in the shoes of that real person picking up the phone, and figuring out the best way to show them that you care, you are different from everyone else calling them, and that Harbinger is worth 20 minutes of their time. We are calling business owners directly, so this is not a typical insurance-style, dial-and-pitch job. Our cold-outreach process is built to support that difference — but the person on the phone is what makes it real. We want the owners we call to feel professional respect, and to feel cared for and heard.

What you'll do

  • Place 50+ outbound calls per day to business owners and decision-makers.
  • Research and prepare before dialing so each call is informed, relevant, and human.
  • Confirm the correct decision-maker, owner name, and contact details, and log everything accurately in Pipedrive.
  • Set qualified demo meetings and hand them off cleanly to a Strategic Partnerships Manager with full context. You are just setting up the meeting.
  • Represent Harbinger as a distinct, professional, trustworthy company on every call.
  • Report your daily call totals and weekly demos set in every Monday sales huddle in-office meeting.

What we're looking for

  • A warm, confident, clearly-spoken phone presence and excellent listening skills.
  • The stamina and discipline to make 50+ thoughtful calls a day.
  • Real curiosity about business and the emotional intelligence to make a stranger feel heard.
  • Comfort with gatekeepers, voicemail, and rejection — without losing warmth.
  • CRM/data-entry discipline (Pipedrive experience a plus). Prior outbound/cold-calling experience preferred.
  • Experience making up to 100 cold outbound calls per day is a plus.

Compensation & logistics

  • $55,000 base salary, plus $100 per demo taken (a demo that is actually held) and $500 per closed deal.
  • In-office, 5 days/week in Tyrone, GA. Tool: Pipedrive.
  • Target: roughly 1–1.5 demos set per day.
