We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the Colorado Springs community for over 30 years! We are currently looking for an experienced Asphalt Superintendent. Starting at $75,000 depending on experience.Requirements

  • Manage and oversee asphalt daily operations- including but not limited to making the daily schedule, meet with the crews in the morning to give them the schedule, meeting the crews on jobs sites, meeting project managers on upcoming projects, look at other upcoming jobs from CSU or other customers, etc.
  • Handle scheduling of 3-4 asphalt crews, 3 saw cutters, and coordinate all equipment and trucking to complete the jobs
  • Handle pre construction items such as locates, permits, schedule traffic control.
  • Have good people skills to handle customers and inspectors
  • Be able to solve problems on the go as we are a โ€œon-callโ€ asphalt service company and have to adjust the schedule multiple times throughout the day and keep the crews working
  • Hold weekly safety meetings with crews
  • Complete all required paper work for each job including but not limited to billing sheets, dailies, safety sheets, etc.
  • Prior asphalt paving and superintendent experience a must
