The Partner Solution Sales professional is a key role within the Microsoft Elevate Scale OU and is a strategic partner facing role responsible for AI Business Process Microsoft Elevate priorities for Education and Nonprofit with regional Partners.
Within this PSS role, you will be responsible for driving opportunities for AI Business Process ( Copilot Studio, D365, PowerPlatform) operating at scale across a portfolio of high performing partners within the Education and Nonprofit industries. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen, hone your selling skills, and become adept at deal structuring.
You will develop and execute a Partner Solution Area Sales Plan with assigned partners, driving sales through co-sell strategies to achieve quarterly AI Business Process FRA across the Microsoft Elevate Education and nonprofit customers. Your role will involve acting as a trusted advisor and business leader, developing the business strategy between Microsoft Elevate for AI Business Process and your partners. You will also enhance your consultative selling skills through MCEM training and actively pursue additional learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
In this role, the Partner Solution Sales for AI Business Process will own a broad set of responsibilities to drive partner sales execution for AI Business Process and business outcomes.
Partner AI Business process Sales management for Elevate Industries: Own the AI Business Process sales plan at the partner level, aligned to achieve Elevate Sales Unit AI Business Process (AI BP) FRA and metric ambitions across the Education and Nonprofit industries. Maintain healthy qualified AI Business pipeline coverage by partner, sustaining sufficient coverage (e.g., ≥3x) across pinned partners. Activate partner sales teams through the landing of SMB AI Business Process cohorts, ASPX, and propensity tools, and through in-person and virtual partner events that enable sellers and progress AI Business Process pipeline. Drive new customer acquisition through partners, growing NCA and NPSA via partner-led motions tied to AI Business Process metric ambitions.
Co-sell Execution & Deal Progression for AI BP for Education & Nonprofit: Drive partner-led co-sell execution and own the progression of each partner's top AI Business Process aligned deals to close, orchestrating priority opportunities through MCEM Stage 2-3 and leveraging compete displacement to accelerate attainment. Orchestrate co-sell with the field by aligning with DSS, DAE, and account teams on shared opportunities, ensuring inbound partner-led referrals are owned, qualified, and actioned, and sustaining a consistent and predictable Rhythm of Business across both internal and external stakeholders.
MCEM Operational Excellence & sales execution: Deliver operational execution excellence through disciplined MCEM execution and pipeline management to drive consistent, repeatable results for the CSA. Ensuring a healthy renewal excellence motion - lead deal progression for CSP and EA/EES renewal, upsell, and attach motions to accelerate and improve recapture rates for AI WF attainment. Map Business Process partner and field-led programs, investments, offers - industry (nonprofit grant) and CSA (CSP promo) to accelerate deal velocity and grow deal value.
AI BP technical competence & consultative sales: Achieve and sustain Level 200 depth in AI Business Process AI solution selling, building the technical fluency required to lead credible, solution-led conversations through partners. Demonstrate consultative selling by reinforcing outcome-led sales motions aligned to frontier solutions and tailored to the buying realities of the Education and Nonprofit industries, ensuring every engagement connects Microsoft capability to a defined customer outcome.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in core sales, partner sales, industry or solution selling, marketing, or business development

  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
  • Doctorate AND 3+ years experience in core sales, partner sales, industry or solution selling, marketing, or business development OR Master's Degree AND

  • 6+ years experience in core sales, partner sales, industry or solution selling, marketing, or business development OR Bachelor's Degree AND

  • 8+ years experience in core sales, partner sales, industry or solution selling, marketing, or business development OR equivalent experience

Partner Solution Sales IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
