Job description

Title: Cloud & Citrix Engineer 

Location:  Hybrid 4 days onsite in Irving, TX or Boca Raton, FL, Rochester NY or Knoxville, TN

Type: 6+ months

Notes

  • This role is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating the company's Citrix virtual application and desktop platforms across a hybrid infrastructure footprint that includes on‑prem data centers, colocation facilities, and public cloud
  • This role focuses on advanced Citrix engineering, deep integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and the underlying compute platforms including VMware, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Google Compute Engine (GCE) as a cloud‑native hypervisor.
  • Design, implement, and support Citrix DaaS/CVAD solutions across hybrid environments including on‑prem and Google Cloud.
  • Engineer and support Citrix core components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Cloud Connectors, Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and Workspace.
  • Design, configure, and support NetScaler / ADC and gateway services for secure remote access, load balancing, traffic management, and SSL/TLS.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloud‑native vs traditional hypervisor platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization (vCenter / ESXi).
  • Experience supporting or engineering hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments.
  • Strong Google Cloud Platform experience, including GCE, networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Citrix certifications (CCP, CCE‑V, NetScaler), Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Network Engineer), and/or VMware certifications (VCP‑DCV or equivalent).
