As Axon’s Senior D365 F&O Solutions Analyst, you will be the connective tissue between our enterprise systems, financial operations, and the next generation of AI‑powered automation. You’ll leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to drive supply chain excellence while optimizing finance processes. This role is for someone who not only uses technology but pushes it forward, deploying AI agents, Power Platform solutions, and MCP integrations to multiply process impact. If you’re excited by building agentic workflows that help Axon’s mission scale, this is your seat at the table.

What You’ll Do

Location: 4 days in the office (Tuesday‑Friday) Hybrid from Axon HQ locations – Scottsdale, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, and New York.
Reports to: Director, D365 Enterprise Applications
Direct Reports: None (Individual Contributor with strong cross‑functional influence)

  • Own and optimize D365 F&O modules spanning Supply Chain Management (procurement, inventory, warehouse management, supply planning) and Finance (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting) – ensuring system configuration aligns with evolving business needs and financial controls.
  • Drive AI‑first process improvement by designing and deploying agentic workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and MCP integrations that reduce manual effort across finance and supply chain operations.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, month‑end close support, cost variance analysis, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Build & maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) that surface real‑time supply chain and financial KPIs to business stakeholders.
  • Lead cross‑functional discovery and requirements gathering with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT teams – translating business needs into functional D365 specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
  • Implement and manage agentic AI experiences using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or other LLM integrations via MCP.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert on D365 F&O data models, supporting integrations with external systems (EDI, Salesforce, etc.) and ensuring data integrity.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and AI literacy within the Finance and Supply Chain teams – conducting enablement sessions, documenting processes, and identifying new automation opportunities.
  • Support system upgrades, new module rollouts, and D365 release wave evaluations – assessing impact, coordinating testing, and communicating changes to business users.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in a functional or techno‑functional capacity.
  • Deep expertise in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Finance/GL, or Cost Accounting.
  • Solid foundation in Finance & Accounting principles and ability to hold conversations around month‑end close, cost variance, AP/AR workflows, and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated experience building agentic or AI‑powered solutions via Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate with AI Builder, Azure AI services, or LLM integrations.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with a record of delivering production solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear communication of trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth technology or manufacturing environment, ideally supporting global finance or supply chain operations.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with D365 F&O technical concepts (X++, data entities, LCS, Azure DevOps ALM) or experience integrating D365 with MCP‑enabled AI agents or external LLM tooling.
