Your Impact

As Axon's Senior D365 F&O Solutions Analyst, you will be the connective tissue between our enterprise systems, financial operations, and the next generation of AI-powered automation. You'll leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to drive supply chain excellence while bringing deep finance and accounting knowledge to optimize end-to-end business processes. This role is for someone who doesn't just use technology - they push it forward, actively deploying AI agents, Power Platform solutions, and MCP integrations to multiply the impact of every process they touch. If you're excited by the idea of building agentic workflows that help Axon's mission scale, this is your seat at the table.

What You'll Do

Location: 4 days in the office (Tuesday-Friday) Hybrid from Axon HQ locations - Scottsdale, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta and New York, Seattle, Sterling VA.
Reports to: Director, D365 Enterprise Applications
Direct Reports: None (Individual Contributor with strong cross-functional influence)

  • Own and optimize D365 F&O modules spanning Supply Chain Management (procurement, inventory, warehouse management, supply planning) and Finance (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting) - ensuring system configuration aligns with evolving business needs and financial controls.
  • Drive AI-first process improvement by designing and deploying agentic workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and MCP integrations that reduce manual effort across finance and supply chain operations.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close support, cost variance analysis, and compliance with GAAP - translating accounting requirements into D365 configurations and automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) that surface real-time supply chain and financial KPIs to business stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions at every level.
  • Lead cross-functional discovery and requirements gathering with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT teams - translating business needs into functional D365 specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
  • Implement and manage agentic AI experiences - using tools such as Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or third-party LLM integrations via MCP.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on D365 F&O data models, supporting integrations with external systems (EDI, Salesforce, etc.) and ensuring data integrity across the enterprise technology stack.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and AI literacy within the Finance and Supply Chain teams - conducting enablement sessions, documenting processes, and identifying the next wave of automation opportunities.
  • Support system upgrades, new module rollouts, and D365 release wave evaluations - assessing impact, coordinating testing, and communicating changes to business users.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in a functional or techno-functional capacity, with deep expertise in: Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Finance/GL, or Cost Accounting.
  • Solid foundation in Finance & Accounting principles - you can hold your own in a conversation about month-end close, cost variance, AP/AR workflows, or financial controls, and you understand how those requirements translate into D365 configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience building agentic or AI-powered solutions - whether through Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate with AI Builder, Azure AI services, LLM integrations via MCP, or equivalent platforms. You actively use AI in your day-to-day work, not just talk about it.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with a track record of delivering production solutions that solved real business problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - able to diagnose process gaps, design elegant solutions, and communicate trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or manufacturing environment, ideally supporting global finance or supply chain operations.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with D365 F&O technical concepts (X++ basics, data entities, LCS, Azure DevOps ALM), or experience integrating D365 with MCP-enabled AI agents or external LLM tooling.
