We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our expanding team and support business growth in the following locations - New York City, NY, Connecticut, New Jersey, Eastern PA. This individual will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region.

Position Summary:

The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Cytek Biosciences' presence within assigned accounts. The Sales Specialist will drive adoption of Cytek's flow cytometry reagents as well as the entry- and mid-tier instrument solutions at the laboratory level, working directly with researchers, laboratory staff, and procurement teams. The role is responsible for expanding reagent utilization within customer workflows while identifying, nurturing and closing opportunities for Cytek's flow cytometry platforms.

This position requires close collaboration with internal technical and commercial partners, including Field Application Scientists, Inside Sales, marketing, and Cytek's advanced instrument sales team, as well as external distribution partners, to maximize commercial impact and customer engagement.

The Sales Specialist will also support initiatives to ensure Cytek's portfolio of consumables and reagents is visible and accessible within customer procurement systems through the effective use of B2B tools and commercial enablement processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets within the designated territory.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop commercial opportunities aligned with Cytek's strategic business objectives.
  • Expand adoption of Cytek's reagent and consumables portfolio within academic, government and biotechnology research laboratories.
  • Engage directly with researchers and laboratory staff to support integration of Cytek reagents within experimental workflows.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for Cytek's entry-and mid-tier flow cytometry platforms within the territory.
  • Collaborate with Cytek's advanced instrument sales team to support opportunities involving higher-complexity instrument platforms.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies that support both reagent adoption and instrument opportunity development.
  • Partner closely with Field Application Scientists to support panel design discussions, technical presentations, instrument evaluations, and customer training.
  • Work collaboratively with Inside Sales to support lead generation, pipeline development, and customer outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate with field marketing to support seminars, workshops, and educational events within the flow cytometry research community.
  • Collaborate with authorized distribution partners to expand market coverage and identify opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Drive visibility and adoption of Cytek's consumables and reagents portfolio within customer procurement platforms and purchasing workflows.
  • Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and forecasting information within CRM systems.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering, ora related field.
  • 5+years of life sciences sales experienceORa combination of scientific lab experienceand hands-on work with distribution partners and channel sales models.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience selling life science reagents, consumables, or related research tools into academic, government, or biotechnology research environments, with exposure to flow cytometry, cell analysis, or related technologies. Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to grow revenue within assigned territories.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and execution capabilities.
