MUST HAVE: AERO, QUALITY, BACHELOR’S DEGREE, MRB, MANUFACTURING, PFMEA, APQP/PPAP

Overview:

Cyient is seeking a Quality / MRB Engineer to join its team in North Hollywood, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in quality engineering and hands-on experience in dispositioning non-conformances, preferably within the aerospace and manufacturing domain. The position supports Quality Notification (QN) processes and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, with a focus on metallic parts and quality activities.

 

Key Candidate Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, etc.) or Science (Physics, Chemistry)
    Associate Degree with 3–6 years relevant experience will be considered 
  • Maximum 10 years of total experience
  • Experience in quality roles with exposure to MRB engineering
  • Good disposition experience on non-conformances
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (to comply with ITAR/export compliance)

Required Skills & Experience:

Aerospace and manufacturing domain experience

Quality tools knowledge: Root Cause Analysis8DPFMEAAPQP/PPAP

Experience advancing Zero Defect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis, PFMEA, 8D corrective action

Supplier quality audit experience

Familiarity with Zero Defect culture and deployment ofstatistical tools in quality management

Ability to develop and implement Supplier Risk Mitigation Plans

Involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) from a quality assurance perspective

Strong communication and decision-making skills for interacting with cross-functional teams

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions; hands-on expertise in measurement methods and tools

Hands-on experience with MRB processes for metallic parts
