Compensation
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $40,590 - $53,784.40. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Inventory Control Coordinator will support the inventory operations by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of inventory transactions. This role is crucial in assisting with the protection of inventory assets within our manufacturing company. The Coordinator will help implement and maintain system controls, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in inventory management, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. They will work closely with other departments to support inventory processes and ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust cycle count process to reduce the need for annual physical inventory.
  • Partner with accounting to support cycle count parameters and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist in defining and implementing Kanban processes to improve inventory flow.
  • Collect and enter cycle count data into the ERP system (Oracle preferred).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify root causes of discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, including Excel, for daily tasks and reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels by analyzing MRP reports.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing ISO standards for inventory management functions.
  • Support regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory processes and procedures.
  • Help manage supply chain systems, conduct inventory checks regularly, and write inventory reports.
  • Inspect inventory for damage or unsuitable products and manage returns or disposals according to company standards.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
  • Ensure the availability of the right parts at the right time for production needs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
  • Provide training and support to team members on inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What you'll Need To Succeed:
  • Proven experience with cycle count processes and internal logistics (receiving, stocking, shipping).
  • Basic business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve complex issues and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Good communication skills, (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from management to support staff. Creative and persuasive in communicating how interventions can improve current practices.
  • Good interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, including the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Good organizational, planning, and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources and juggling key demands.

Required:
  • Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years in logistics and cycle count processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle.

Preferred:
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP software.
  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
