Job description

*The schedule for this role is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30 with overtime/Saturdays as needed*

The Cycle Count Coordinator is an essential position in ensuring that the inventory needs of operations are met and that inventory records are accurate. They ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory at all times by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of product storage locations, and monitoring material receiving and other material movement transactions. Reports directly to the Inventory Control Manager and will interface on a regular basis with all Distribution personnel regarding inventory transactions, cycle counts, daily audits of appropriate warehouse locations, and reports.ย  ย 

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s)
  • Publish daily cycle count results
  • Research inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place).
  • Verify Inventory on stock outs and shortages
  • Maintain and improve relations with warehouse personnel to optimize the movement of materials throughout the warehouse(s) and production floors. Analyze material movements and report performance.
  • Assist Procurement department in maintaining and improving all inventory replenishment systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic PC proficiency: Excel and ERP system experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting, walking, and reaching.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe behavior.
  • Forklift certification required
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory or warehouse operations (3 years preferred).
  • Experience with physical inventory and cycle counting.
Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Regular exposure to cold storage environments (average 40F, occasionally -4F).

Physical demands include lifting, standing, and operating warehouse equipment.

$20.93 - $20.93 an hour
