SUMMARY

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring inventory integrity through collaboration with various departments including production, warehousing, and procurement.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of inventory variances and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory items within the warehouse and production floor.
  • Support physical inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and Operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy throughout the supply chain.
  • Accurately weigh or count inventory items to ensure correct quantities for distribution within the factory.
  • Utilize a computer system to receive and process purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of received materials.
  • Distribute internal packages and documentation throughout the facility on a daily basis, ensuring timely delivery to all departments.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must possess excellent math and counting skills.
  • Analytical, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills required.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Able to work well independently and as a team.
  • Must be self-starter able to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-year experience within warehouse or inventory preferred.
