Position Summary:

The Events & Operations Manager is a key member of Cincinnati Youth Collaborative’s Advancement Team, responsible for leading the planning and execution of CYC’s fundraising and key organizational events while supporting the operational infrastructure of the Advancement function. This position creates high-quality, relationship-centered experiences that strengthen engagement with donors, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and supporters. The Manager also provides operational and project support to the Chief Advancement Officer and executive leadership, contributing to the effective execution of advancement and organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and Execute Major Events:
  • Has primary responsibility for fundraising event planning and execution including logistics, venue selection and coordination, permitting, timing, contractors, ticket pricing, auctions and collaborations for all fundraising events.
  • Supports eventlogisticsincluding venueselection and coordination, permitting, timing, contractors for programmatic events.
  • Assistswith recruitment and supervision of volunteers forspecial events.
Advancement Operations:
  • Serve as the primary administrator and internal resource for CYC’s CRM and fundraising platform.
  • Maintainaccurateand completedonor,sponsor,prospect, and constituent records.
  • Process contributions, pledges, sponsorship commitments, and other philanthropic revenue.
  • Build andmaintaincampaigns, event pages, registration forms, donation forms, ticketing, and other fundraising tools within the CRM.
  • Prepare fundraising reports,donorand mailing lists, event reports, and campaign data for the Advancement Team and organizational leadership.
Special Projects:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership team and other departments on projects aligned with CYC’s strategic plan and emerging needs.
  • Develop project timelines, coordinate stakeholders and deliverables, and monitor progress through completion.
Donor Engagement & Advancement Support:
  • Support the Chief Advancement Officer and Advancement Director in donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management activities.
  • Conduct donor and prospect researchand prepare relevant background information, giving history, relationship details, and other briefing materials in advance of donor and prospect meetings.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating donor and prospect meetings, including meeting preparation, follow-up, and tracking donor interactions and activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing events, projects, or initiatives involving multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Greater Cincinnati’s corporate, nonprofit and/or philanthropic community preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule:

This is a full-time, exempt position thatgenerally worksMonday through Friday during regular business hours. Flexibility isrequiredto attend occasional early morning, evening, and weekend meetings, fundraising events, board meetings, donor activities, and community engagements. Local travel throughout the Greater Cincinnati region is expected. This position isdesignatedas hybrid; however, the first90 days of employment are expected to be primarily in person to support onboarding, relationship building, and integration into CYC’s mission, programs, fundraising priorities, and organizational operations.
