Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 38000 Hills Tech Dr, Farmington Hills, MI 48331. Technical responsibility for the customer project and acting as the technical window to the customer on topics related to requirements and testing activities. Provide support in commercial aspects of the project such as project calculation, quotation process, and project definition with the customer. Support of project controlling and participation in project approval. Planning of all testing activities including time schedules and provision of test vehicles and required tools. Coordination of necessary support from Robert Bosch and acting as the technical contact person for test engineers worldwide. Coordination of release and required release documentation. Delegation and tracking of open vehicles and testing topics. Definition and checking of project scope and customer requirements. Effort estimation and resource management in collaboration with project managers and resource managers. Quality management including collection and filtering of lessons learned. Initial setup of development tools and maintenance of documentation base w.r.t testing and requirements. Creation and maintenance of project specifications and test plans. Application of agile methods such as Kanban and Scrum. Technical discussion and coordination with OEMs. Requirements management include documentation, negotiation, and tracking of customer requirements. Risk management including risk assessment and mitigation. Problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues during the project. Communication and collaboration with various stakeholders including internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners. Escalation management and stakeholder management. Monitoring and controlling project progress, issue management, and reporting. Support in series introduction and production support phases. Elaboration of integration plans and coordination of internal test releases and testing phases. Provide guidance and support to the team in structuring, eliciting, and documenting requirements effectively, fostering consistency and clarity. Coordination of HIL resources across all Active Safety projects. Local lead for Technical PCCs. Lead VVM for AAS at BEG-NA, interfacing with BEG-DE and supporting VVMs in Mexico. Develop AI prompts and script/tools to support test automation and digitalization initiatives. Create Requirements Management and Traceability concepts. Support flashing campaigns based on local needs. Collect results of planned safety activities according to the project. Coordinate the specification of top level safety requirements and the functional safety concept in projects where these do not yet exist, including consideration of cybersecurity threats and controls. Coordinate the specification of the technical safety concept. Will be involved early in requirement discussions and being informed about functional changes at the latest by the Change Control Board (CCB) meeting. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of experience as a Senior Verification Manager, Validation Manager, Senior Test Engineer or in an occupation involving embedded software development and system testing. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1). HiL test environments; (2). SiL/HiL testing methods; (3). Automotive quality and safety standards (ASPICE and ISO 26262); (4). Powertrain systems and electronic architecture (combustion engines, transmissions, hybrid architectures, electric drives and communication network); and (5). Source control management tools (SVN or Git). Travel Requirements: 10% international or domestic travel. Telecommuting: Up to 3 days a week allowed to work from home.
