Job description

Overview Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. Summary: The Project Manager II supports the execution of projects under the Clinical Infrastructure Modernization Program Lifecycle Environment (CIMPLE), with a focus on the Compute and Storage Management Service (CSMS) and Data Center Operations (DCOPS). This role is responsible for managing defined project tasks, schedules, risks, and deliverables supporting the design, deployment, and sustainment of a centrally managed medical virtualization infrastructure for the Military Health System (MHS). Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: * Support planning, execution, and tracking of CIMPLE CSMS/DCOPS projects and task orders * Coordinate schedules, action items, and dependencies across technical teams supporting Type-1 hypervisor environments * Assist with tracking deliverables, including technical reports, architectural documentation, testing results, and compliance artifacts (CDRLs) * Monitor project risks, issues, and change requests and escalate as appropriate * Support coordination of system upgrades, patching activities, and testing efforts in pre-production and production environments * Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track follow-up actions * Assist in supporting RMF, STIG, IAVA, and vulnerability remediation activities from a project management perspective * Ensure project activities align with DHA governance, security, and change management processes * Provide regular status reporting to program leadership and government stakeholders Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: * Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies * Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure concepts, including virtualization and data center operations * Understanding of DoD IT environments, compliance requirements, and structured governance processes * Ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams and manage competing priorities * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) Minimum Qualifications: * Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure or technology-focused projects * Experience tracking schedules, risks, deliverables, and action items * Must have a Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field Pay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
