Job description

Technical Program Manager - Clearance Required
Job Locations US-NC-Fort Bragg
ID 2026-14115 # of Openings 1
Overview

We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead the deployment and evolution of LIGER, an enterprise AI platform. You'll be the senior technical owner of the program: bridging hands-on engineering execution with senior government leadership, mitigating technical and programmatic risk, and making sure the AI capabilities we ship directly support mission outcomes. This position requires a secret clearance - US citizenship is required. This position requires occasional client site work at Ft. Bragg, NC.

This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, federal compliance environments, and agentic AI systems, plus the ability to coordinate complex development efforts and align senior stakeholders. You'll move quickly in an environment that emphasizes building, deploying, and iterating in parallel, communicating clearly, driving consensus, fostering strong team collaboration, and owning the end-to-end solution lifecycle with the customer.

LIGER sits within LMI's Chief Technology Office. We're a small, high-visibility team building AI tools for federal agencies. The culture is more startup than traditional government contractor; we move fast, solve problems in design spikes rather than scheduled reviews, and care more about outcomes than process. That said, we're building for users who need reliability and trust, so craft and attention to detail matter.

As Technical Program Manager, you'll work daily with the LIGER platform lead, engineering team, product manager, and stakeholders. You'll have real influence over how AI capabilities land in a real federal mission environment.

LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.

Leveraging our mission-ready technology and solutions, proven expertise in federal deployment, and strategic relationships, we enhance outcomes for the government, efficiently and effectively. With a focus on agility and collaboration, LMI serves the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors-helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

* Serve as the technical lead for LIGER's deployment, coordinating GenAI and agentic AI development efforts to align with customer requirements, constraints, and mission priorities

* Translate mission needs into LIGER architectures, workflows, and agent-based solutions that integrate with existing systems and cloud environments

* Combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management to align leaders behind AI-driven solution approaches

* Oversee deployment and evolution of GenAI platforms, AI agents, and supporting data pipelines, mitigating technical, security, and delivery risk

* Partner with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing cloud, data, and enterprise IT environments

* Develop and maintain technical documentation: system architectures, agent interaction diagrams, AI workflow specifications, and solution design narratives

* Provide technical guidance and advisory support to personnel and partner contractors

* Stay current on GenAI, agentic AI patterns, cloud infrastructure advancements, and evolving DHS and federal digital standards

* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and AI risk management requirements

* Partner with program leadership to optimize cost efficiency and prevent cost overruns in AI platform delivery

* Provide clear, regular status updates to senior leaders and LMI management

* Manage program deliverables, financials, schedules, and team performance across the full solution lifecycle

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

* An active Secret Security Clearance

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience

* 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud deployments, including security, cyber, and data infrastructure

* Demonstrated experience implementing or managing GenAI platforms, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows in enterprise or federal mission environments

* Experience interfacing between hands-on technical teams and senior stakeholders, creating delivery roadmaps from scratch

* Strong familiarity with federal standards and requirements for digital, cloud, cyber, and data systems

* Experience working directly with federal stakeholders and partner contractors

* Ability to clearly communicate complex AI and technical concepts to non-technical audiences

What Will Set You Apart

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field

* Direct experience leading delivery of GenAI or agentic AI systems in federal environments\

* FedRAMP authorization or assessment experience

* Experience leading delivery of operational federal solutions where mission constraints (latency, availability, security) materially shape design

* Relevant certifications: Security+, Cloud+, Data+, CySA+, Solution Architect (AWS or Azure), PMP, Scrum/Agile

Target salary range: $145,000 - 220,000
