Job description


As a Senior Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be the primary point of contact and representative of Honeywell for complex programs to ensure their successful execution. You will be responsible for managing program activities, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
You will report directly to our Program Manager, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact program efficiency and effectiveness by providing expert support in program planning, execution, and monitoring, helping to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, customer satisfaction and adherence to timelines & budget.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Ownership of project budgets, forecasting revenue, tracking costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and supporting financial reporting.
  • Execute risk, contract & change management, issue resolution, project controls, and performance monitoring.
  • Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Utilize project and program management tools (PMIS) for scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and status tracking.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve program outcomes.
  • Drive safety, quality, productivity and regulatory compliance requirements associated with project execution.
  • Coordinate and support program activities to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction to achieve results & outcomes.
  • Be prepared to travel 25-30% of the time to meet with clients, stakeholders and project team sites as necessary.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction & Project Management, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project/program management or related roles.
