Executive Engagement & Strategic Consultation:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives (CIO, CISO, CEO, CFO) to understand their goals and challenges

Strategic Sales & Business Development:

  • Own and grow Cybersecurity accounts in Western Canada's Enterprise segments

Sales Cycle Mastery:

  • Manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting to closing deals
  • Lead RFP responses and contract negotiations with precision
  • Navigate procurement processes to maximize market potential, especially in commercial accounts

Value Creation & Solution Consulting:

  • Identify areas where TELUS Security can add value and address specific business needs
  • Focus on consulting, outsourcing, staff augmentation, and managed services
  • Demonstrate ROI and business impact to executive stakeholders

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal teams (Sales Executives, Solution Architects, Product Management) to deliver exceptional results
  • Represent TELUS as a trusted brand ambassador in the cybersecurity space
     
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years managing large, complex accounts in the cybersecurity industry. Proven sales expertise in Mid-Market/Enterprise/Public Sector accounts
  • Skills: Consultative selling, executive engagement, and a knack for translating technical requirements into business value
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and solutions like Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, and IAM
  • Language: Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope
    • Proficiency in French is an asset, but not required
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
