Your Job
The Cyber Security Manager guides Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) in managing enterprise cyber risk while supporting profitable growth, resilient operations, and confident technology adoption. This role partners across IT, Operations, Accounting and Commercial capabilities to keep security efforts visible, actionable, and aligned with business priorities-enabling resilience without slowing innovation.
This role is preferred to be based in our Headquarters in Wichita, KS.
Our Team
You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional environment working closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams to strengthen cyber resilience and enable secure operations.
What You Will Do
  • Lead exposure and vulnerability management by prioritizing risk and driving timely remediation across teams
  • Drive AI-enabled transformation of threat detection and vulnerability management, improving speed, accuracy, and proactive risk mitigation
  • Strengthen incident response readiness through defined roles, maintained playbooks, and regular exercises
  • Reinforce governance, risk, and compliance practices through policy alignment, assessments, and issue follow-up
  • Partner across infrastructure, applications, operations, and business teams to support secure technology delivery
  • Track progress, report key risks and outcomes, escalate material issues, and drive continuous improvement
  • Promote clear ownership, cross-functional alignment, and operational discipline across the security program

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience leading or coordinating cybersecurity or technology risk initiatives to include assessing, prioritizing, and driving remediation of cybersecurity risks
  • Experience resolving cyber risk exposure, responding to cyber incident responses, or supporting cyber governance, risk, and compliance activities
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and align technical and non- technical

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Broad understanding of cyber security across technical, business, and compliance domains
  • Knowledge of cyber incident response preparation, execution, and follow-up activities
  • Experience supporting cyber governance, risk, and compliance practices
  • Ability to build and communicate cyber risk insights through metrics, reporting, or dashboards
  • Proven success driving adoption of security standards and practices across organizations
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environments
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, CISM, cloud security certifications)
