The Opportunity

P&G is hiring a Site Cyber Security Leader for its Iowa City, IA plant. The role involves developing and executing the site's security strategy, implementing top-tier security technologies, and maintaining strong defenses across control systems, networks, endpoints, and applications. Responsibilities also include conducting self-assessments and applying risk mitigation to meet industry standards and internal policies. Success in this role requires creativity and collaboration both onsite and with Info Sec technical leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, & maintains enterprise security solutions to enable security-safe business operations- Core process and self-service improvements- Investment in automation- Upholding availability, integration, and confidentiality for the business

  • Delivers solutions in accordance with the organization's architectural designs, best practices, and regulatory or compliance requirements.

  • Responsible for recommending and developing modifications and enhancements to ensure the organization is evolving with the threat landscape as risks change

  • Secures systems, applications, cloud infrastructures, integrations, service providers and ancillary systems

  • Validates the technical security of business to-business initiatives, third-party relationships, outsourced solutions, and vendors. implement, monitor, and manage secure solutions that address modern day issues.

  • Provides strong protection for P&G's reputation, revenue, and shareholder value from emerging and existing threats while enabling business operations and growth with a user centric focus and secure, resilient capabilities.

  • Balances cyber threats with business needs- In depth defense strategy.

  • Lead site cybersecurity capability building and create a sustainable and visible culture of cybersecurity awareness unique to the site.

    Actively participate in the available Site Cyber Security Leader (CSL) Community of Practices to bring back best practices, enhance site cybersecurity action plan, and share for reapplication.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related fields OR 4+ years of relevant cyber security experience

  • Experience in information technology, information security administration, or security operations.

  • Prior experience with technology design, implementation, and delivery.

  • Experience in cloud computing technologies, including software, infrastructure, and platform-as-a-service, as well as public, private, and hybrid environments.

  • Capable of scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of integration patterns such as API design, build, implementation, testing, and deployment processes.

  • Knowledge of access patterns, storage and database options, and data retrieval logic.

  • Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and the software development lifecycle (SLDC).

  • Experience with DevSecOps concepts and agile workflows, including Scrum and Kanban.

  • Able to influence others, explain complex security concepts for business, work independently, and make critical decisions.

  • Must be able to work onsite in Iowa City, IA facility 4-5 days per week.

Preferred:

  • External/Industry Certifications (preferably one or more (or working toward one or more) of the following): CCSP, CISSP, TOGAF, Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE), Security & Risk Frameworks: OWASP, CVSS, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, DevOps Institute
