Through the Distributed Mission Operations Network (DMON), the program delivers highly realistic, networked training environments that support readiness against evolving and near-peer threats. Position Summary The Level 3 Cyber Systems Administrator serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for advanced system administration, infrastructure optimization, incident resolution, and engineering support. Key Responsibilities * Lead monitoring and health assessments of enterprise infrastructure and mission systems * Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex system, network, and virtualization issues * Execute and oversee system patching, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management * Drive incident response coordination, root cause analysis, and resolution documentation * Partner with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to plan and execute engineering activities * Provide cybersecurity compliance support and audit readiness assistance * Identify inefficiencies and implement system performance optimizations * Mentor junior administrators and support operational best practices * Contribute to process engineering and infrastructure modernization efforts Required Education, Certification, Clearance & Technology * Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline) * Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR access * DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required (or higher) within 6 months (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP) Required Technology Experience: * Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM): advanced packaging, OS deployment, patch management, troubleshooting DP/client communication issues * Windows Server Update Services (WSUS): enterprise administration, synchronization, approval workflows, MECM integration * VMware vSphere/ESXi: advanced administration including clusters, HA/DRS, performance tuning, virtual networking * Windows Server 2016-2025 and Windows 11 enterprise administration * Active Directory architecture, DNS, Group Policy design and troubleshooting * PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and system management * Monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools * Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission-critical infrastructure Experience Requirements * 5+ years of relevant experience (Master's degree may substitute for up to 2 years) Preferred Qualifications * PKI / Certificate Services (ADCS, certificate automation, OCSP, CRLs, TLS infrastructure) * Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code implementation * Microsoft Exchange hybrid or enterprise environments * Experience leading technical initiatives or infrastructure projects * Strong root cause analysis and systems engineering experience Travel * Up to 10% travel required Why Join Support a mission-critical Air Force program that enables next-generation distributed combat training.
