Job description

Position Summary
Responsible for the architecture, engineering, implementation, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise network, cybersecurity, cloud identity, and server infrastructure platforms. Lead strategic infrastructure initiatives, security improvements, disaster recovery planning, and technology modernization efforts while ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, compliance, and adheres to organized standards.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise network, server, cloud, identity, and cybersecurity infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, resiliency, and compliance
  • Lead the troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident response, and resolution of complex infrastructure, network, cloud, and security issues while serving as the primary technical escalation point
  • Develop, implement, test, and maintain security controls, vulnerability management processes, disaster recovery programs, business continuity, and risk reduction initiatives
  • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and utilization; identify risks and opportunities for improvement; and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, security, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness
  • Lead infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology projects, including lifecycle planning, budgeting recommendations, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of technologies
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends; develop infrastructure roadmaps; and recommend solutions that improve organizational security, performance, and resiliency
  • Design and support networking, collaboration, voice, video, cloud, identity, and cybersecurity solutions utilizing technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, CyberArk, and related platforms
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures, security standards, and system diagrams while ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives aligned with organizational objectives
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to engineers, administrators, and support personnel. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Receive and carry out instructions
  • Performs general clerical duties and special projects as needed
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking including routing, switching, wireless networking, network architecture, protocols, subnetting, and infrastructure design. Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Nexus, Catalyst, DNA Center, ISE, and enterprise wireless platforms
  • Expertise in cybersecurity architecture, network security, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, privileged access management, multi-factor authentication, cybersecurity frameworks, and security monitoring, preferably using Palo Alto and CyberArk technologies
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments utilizing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, hybrid cloud technologies, VMware virtualization, storage and server platforms
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor technical staff, lead projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both education and experience
