Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Kyocera SGS Precision Tools | Cuyahoga Falls, OH (Onsite with Hybrid Flexibility)
Kyocera SGS Precision Tools is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to lead and strengthen our organization's cybersecurity posture. This is a high-impact role responsible for protecting critical systems, guiding security strategy, and mentoring technical teams as we continue to grow.
About the Role
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst serves as a subject matter expert responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and defending systems and networks against evolving cyber threats while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
This role offers direct influence on security strategy and the opportunity to strengthen and mature cybersecurity operations within a global manufacturing environment. You'll partner closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams while contributing both hands-on expertise and strategic insight.
What You'll Do
Cybersecurity Leadership & Operations
  • Lead monitoring of security tools including SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS
  • Coordinate and lead incident response efforts from investigation through recovery
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term mitigation strategies
  • Conduct proactive threat identification and analysis

Risk, Governance & Compliance
  • Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001
  • Ensure timely patching and secure configuration baselines

Strategy, Collaboration & Reporting
  • Prepare and present security posture and risk reports to leadership
  • Partner with IT, compliance, and business teams on security initiatives
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness and training efforts
  • Mentor junior analysts and support staff while leading security projects

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response tools
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments and ERP systems strongly preferred

Certifications (Preferred)
  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+
