Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Third-Party Cybersecurity Risk Analyst in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a Third-Party Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to support the assessment, monitoring, and management of cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers. This role will partner closely with Information Security, Procurement, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to evaluate vendor security posture, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has experience conducting vendor security assessments, reviewing cybersecurity controls, and applying industry-standard risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments of third-party vendors throughout the vendor lifecycle
* Perform vendor security reviews for both standard and expedited assessment requests
* Evaluate vendor security documentation, audit reports, certifications, and compliance evidence
* Analyze security controls and identify potential risks, gaps, and mitigation strategies
* Provide vendor risk ratings, security requirements, and recommendations to support business decisions
* Manage vendor security questionnaires and documentation review processes
* Ensure assessments align with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
* Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, findings, remediation plans, and risk acceptance decisions
* Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders on third-party risk initiatives
* Present assessment results, risk findings, and recommendations to leadership and governance committees
* Serve as a subject matter expert on third-party cybersecurity and vendor risk management practices
* Support continuous improvement of third-party risk management processes, controls, and reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, vendor risk management, third-party risk assessments, or information security governance
* Experience conducting vendor security reviews and evaluating cybersecurity controls
* Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience using risk and compliance platforms such as: Archer; ServiceNow GRC; OneTrust; BitSight; SecurityScorecard; Dun & Bradstreet; Core Competencies
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards including: NIST Cybersecurity Framework; ISO 27001; SOC 1/SOC 2; Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) methodologies
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles and control frameworks
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Executive-level communication and presentation abilities
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-informed decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a regulated enterprise environment
* Experience supporting audits, compliance initiatives, or regulatory assessments
* Familiarity with third-party risk management programs and governance processes
Preferred Certifications:
* CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
* CTPRA (Certified Third-Party Risk Assessor)
* CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
* CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
