Description
SAIC is hiring for a Cybersecurity Analyst in Anaheim, CA. This is a Hybrid position.
Role and responsibilities:
  • The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, securing and reporting findings of security incidents on our clients' computing systems, networks, and environments.
  • Will be responsible for leading remediation efforts, ensuring the environment follows industry best practices for security posture and recommending security solutions.
  • Will utilize information gathered from monitoring, scanning and other security sources to evaluate current security stance. For example, a vulnerability reported in the scanning system will be evaluated for risk based upon established criteria. The Cybersecurity Analyst will then report that vulnerability to the responsible team and track the remediation efforts for reporting to the client.
  • This position may be called upon to recommend security relevant solutions or industry standard security protocols such as 802.1x for network device authentication.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree with two or more years' experience supporting an IT Enterprise environment in a Cyber, system administration, network engineering or management capacity. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Candidate should possess a solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP, Dynamic Routing, IP addressing, subnetting, network topologies, physical security, authentication, encryption, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless security.
  • Possession of an industry standard certification, such as CompTIA Security +, is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, or Aruba ClearPass is desirable.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
