Job description

Overview

The Cybersecurity Lead supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Business Systems Portfolio develop and integrate Agency business systems solutions, which include systems that address key areas such as personnel management, financial management, telecommunication services, contract management, and customer relations, among other support services to the DISA mission.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure information systems maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity, authentication, non-repudiation, and availability that reflect a balance between the importance and sensitivity of the information and information assets; documented threats and vulnerabilities; the trustworthiness of users and interconnecting systems; the impact of impairment or destruction to the DoD information system; and cost effectiveness
  • Provide daily Assessment and Authorization (A&A) updates through use of the internal cybersecurity portal as well as weekly activity report documentation.
  • Assist Package Submitting Office (PSO) with assessment packages entered into the required A&A processing system (currently the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Plan, coordinate, and submit accreditation documentation requirements for mission and support software/applications as required.
  • Coordinate/conduct server, application, and code scans (per Army CSSP and host platform requirements).
  • Collect data to support reporting and IA management activities across the investment life cycle. Attend and assist in test events, cyber tabletops, and contractor reviews.
  • Facilitate and support activities such as Cybersecurity, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Airworthiness, Safety, and Net-worthiness.
  • Assist in documenting Cyber Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to coincide with Program IMS, designate and develop cyber baselines and tests.
  • Create documents for Authority to Operate (ATOs) and plan for cybersecurity protections to be implemented and provide oversight.
  • Develop ATOs and IATTs that focus on various elements of the program.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology Field.
  • 7 years' experience in cybersecurity operations.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Secret Clearance
