The (USA) Senior Intrusion Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing cybersecurity by leading intrusion detection, incident response, and risk management efforts. This position requires expertise in analyzing complex security events, developing mitigation strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard organizational assets. The role involves continuous evaluation of emerging threats, refining detection mechanisms, and driving the implementation of policies to prevent and contain cyber incidents. The Senior Intrusion Analyst contributes to maintaining a secure environment aligned with industry standards and organizational objectives.

The Security Operations Center Intrusion Analyst team is committed to protecting the Walmart ecosystem by applying industry best practices and automation to prevent intrusions and data loss. What you'll do:
  • Monitor and analyze intrusion detection and prevention systems to identify and respond to security threats promptly.
  • Lead cyber incident detection, reporting, containment, and recovery efforts in alignment with established protocols.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures for intrusion and incident management to enhance organizational security posture.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement effective cyber risk mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess cyber risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements.
  • Drive continuous evaluation and enhancement of cyber risk assessment and incident response processes.
  • Support infrastructure and network security design to ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks.
