Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a highly motivated Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Technology, Integration, and Support Cooperative (TISC) under the Decisive Mission Actions and Technology Services (DMATS) task order. The TISC provides RF, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and software development support to our AFSOC mission partner, enabling rapid technology integration and mission-focused innovation. This position will support program management functions about the design, development, delivery, and sustainment of key TISC services. This is an exciting program charged with delivering next-gen services to a wide range of global users. What you will do * Responsible for supporting the Program Manager for assisting with managing execution and service delivery across a complex program. * As the Deputy Program Manager, candidate will provide oversight of program requirements including but not limited to funding requirements, status, performance and support expense planning as it relates to Labor, Travel and ODCs. * Candidate will manage Spend Plans, establish burn charts and assist TDL Lead in managing risks, specifically to ensure cost overruns are mitigated and cost underruns are identified early and course of action identified to maximize performance and delivery. * Responsible for assisting Program Manager and DMATS PMO with oversight, assisting with coordination of program requirements across planning stages with stakeholders, partners and end-users. * Responsible for assisting Program Manager in managing cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. * May act as customer contact for program activities, including leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. * Will support Program Manager in developing new business or expanding services with the customer. * Support Program Manager in establishing milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. * May direct the work of subordinate employees assigned to the program and assist in identifying service delivery gaps, performance deficiencies, as well as identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and corrective action plans. What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications * 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience. * Clearance: Ability to possess and maintain a Secret clearance. Preferred Requirements * Experience managing projects under an Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) award fee Task Order * Experience managing Information Technology (IT) development and engineering projects as well as managing sustainment operations. * Experience writing, modifying, and negotiating subcontracts and Statements of Work for partner and manpower assist workshare subcontract agreements. * Experience analyzing and resolving complex, long-term challenges through effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. * Experience working with Air Force Special Operations Command; full understanding of headquarters command structure, headquarters staff roles, and operational squadron structure supported by the Technology, Integration, and Support Cooperative.
