About The Role Responsibilities: * Manage and install network technologies such as routers, switches, database servers and related technologies to rehearse operational activity.
* Train colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality, and technical/operational deconfliction.
* Obtain operational infrastructure for use as intermediate operational launch platforms.
Qualifications * Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
* Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph
* Government certification or equivalent
* Ability to evaluate and articulate technical risk
* Understanding of computer networking architecture
* Proficiency with network-security technologies: firewalls, proxies, ipchains, iptables, SNORT, NMAP and related products
* Proficiency with basic internet functionality, ISPs and network traffic
* Possess system administration level knowledge of operating systems (i.e., Window, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, Mobile OS's etc.)
* Ability to convey technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to apply analytical thinking to decision-making and problem solving
* Understanding of fundamental technical network analysis
* Ability to train others on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality and technical/operational de-confliction
* Desired Requirements:
* Certifications: OSCP, OSWE, GXPN, GPEN, or equivalent
* Familiarity with commonly used large-scale service components (webservers, databases, load balancers, caching servers, storage cluster, etc.)
Details Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
