Senior Cyber Analyst
Capstone Research Corporation is seeking to expand our team. We provide high level engineering to the Department of War with Integrated Air and Missile Defense Systems Engineering expertise to solve the tough interoperability problems facing Warfighters today. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Cyber Analyst to support advanced cyber operations, non-kinetic effects, information warfare, and mission systems efforts for Department of War programs operating in complex, contested, and asymmetric warfare environments. The selected candidate will provide technical and operational expertise supporting cyber mission planning, cyber effects integration, operational analysis, targeting support, and mission execution activities associated with modern multi-domain operations.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience supporting offensive and defensive cyber operations, non-kinetic effects planning, electronic warfare integration, information operations, cyber-enabled targeting, and operational mission environments involving both conventional and asymmetric threats. This position supports efforts focused on improving operational effectiveness through cyber-enabled operations, information advantage, electronic attack coordination, mission assurance, and integrated non-kinetic operational capabilities. This position is located in the Pentagon and/or Crystal City, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and operational expertise supporting cyber operations, non-kinetic effects integration, and mission-focused operational activities.
  • Support planning, coordination, integration, and assessment of offensive and defensive cyber operations within joint and multi-domain operational environments.
  • Support development of cyber operational concepts, mission workflows, targeting support activities, and technical approaches for non-kinetic effects delivery.
  • Analyze operational mission needs and develop cyber-enabled solutions supporting contested and asymmetric warfare environments.
  • Support integration of cyber operations with electronic warfare, information operations, intelligence activities, and operational Command and Control (C2) systems.
  • Support operational activities involving cyber-enabled targeting, information advantage, mission assurance, force protection, and distributed operational environments.
  • Coordinate across cyber operators, intelligence analysts, mission planners, software developers, systems engineers, and Government stakeholders.
  • Support operational mission environments involving cyber-enabled threats, unmanned systems, electronic warfare, influence operations, irregular warfare tactics, and distributed attacks.
  • Support technical planning, operational assessments, mission analysis, capability integration, verification, validation, and mission readiness activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, mission analyses, operational briefings, and recommendations for Government leadership.
  • Participate in operational exercises, mission rehearsals, demonstrations, red team activities, and mission-focused assessments supporting cyber and non-kinetic operations.
  • Support rapid capability development, prototype evaluation, and operational transition activities for emerging cyber and information warfare technologies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting Department of War, DoD, Intelligence Community, Cyber Mission Force, or national security programs.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting offensive cyber operations, defensive cyber operations, cyber mission planning, or operational cyber mission environments.
  • Experience supporting non-kinetic effects operations including cyber operations, electronic warfare, information operations, influence operations, or cyber-enabled operational effects.
  • Experience supporting military operations involving asymmetric warfare, contested operational environments, irregular threats, or non-traditional threat vectors.
  • Experience supporting operational planning, mission execution, operational analysis, targeting support, or cyber effects coordination activities.
  • Experience integrating cyber capabilities with operational Command and Control (C2), intelligence systems, mission systems, or operational workflows.
  • Experience analyzing and supporting threats associated with cyber-enabled attacks, electronic warfare, distributed attacks, unmanned systems, or adversarial network operations.
  • Familiarity with cyber mission environments, tactical networks, operational mission systems, or secure communications architectures.
  • Ability to support technical planning, mission analysis, operational assessments, and mission-focused operational activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare operational documentation and brief Government leadership.
  • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Assurance, Operations Research, or related technical discipline.
  • Intelligence Community (IC) experience supporting national security missions, cyber intelligence integration, operational intelligence analysis, or intelligence-driven mission operations.
  • Experience supporting distributed mission operations, cyber mission force activities, or advanced battle management systems.
  • Experience supporting asymmetric warfare mission areas including counter-network operations, counter-UAS, counterterrorism, hybrid warfare operations, or force protection missions.
  • Experience integrating intelligence products, threat analysis, cyber intelligence feeds, or operational intelligence into mission planning or operational execution activities.
  • Experience supporting cyber targeting, cyber effects development, operational preparation of the environment (OPE), or cyber-enabled operational planning.
  • Familiarity with electronic warfare systems, information warfare systems, tactical data links, distributed sensor architectures, or engagement coordination systems.
  • Experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S), cyber ranges, mission analysis, digital engineering, or operational mission assessment environments.
  • Prior military cyber operations, electronic warfare, intelligence, or operational support experience is highly desired.
