Job description

Cyber Data Privacy - Associate Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our attorneys and clients to provide expert counsel on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy law compliance

• Conduct information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions

• Draft data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions

• Assist with data breach response and incident response planning

• Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues

• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school

• Strong analytical and writing skills

• Experience working in a private law firm or in-house position
