Senior Systems Engineer Ft. Gordon, GA โ€“ Full Time โ€“Top Secret SCI Clearance required The Senior Systems Engineer supports Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)โ€™s Technical Warfare Center (TWC) to develop, coordinate, and integrate plans to Synchronize Activities across the designated Cyber Training Ranges and establish appropriate training infrastructure architectures. Assesses database architecture development requirements. Develops and implements standards for DOD cyber training range infrastructure, network architecture, cyber workforce training requirements and other requirements in support of TWC. Maintains and enhances the capability and capacity of the OPR to the DoD EA for Cyber Training Ranges. Designs, develops, evaluates, and modifies systems throughout their lifecycle. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation. Supports establishing system specifications and collaborates with engineering teams to develop systems. Supports design reviews and test plans/procedures execution. Required Skills: โ€ข Current and Valid DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification โ€ข Top Secret SCI Clearance โ€ข This is 100% on-site at client worksite (Fort Belvoir) โ€ข Total experience in IT required โ€“ 8 years with masterโ€™s degree, 10 years with bachelorโ€™s degree, 16 years with high school diploma โ€ข Demonstrated expertise in closed-loop environment networks for cyber training, test and experimentation. โ€ข Understanding of virtualization, containers, cloud and distributed computing. โ€ข Understanding of Wide Area Networking, encryption and Multi-protocol Packet Label Switching (MPLS). Understanding of business process analysis and process improvement. Strong written and oral communications skills. โ€ข Understanding of US Army operations, Joint and Dept. of Defense organizations and United States Cyber Command. โ€ข Familiarity with system, network, and enterprise architecture. โ€ข 8+ Years of Experience in performing System Administration on Windows or Linux systems โ€ข 6+ Years of Experience in performing Security Engineering activities as a principal function โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience in Cybersecurity Preferred Skills: โ€ข B.S.
