Job Type: Full Time 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Service and Management

  • Serve as a trusted risk management partner to a portfolio of large commercial clients, many with premiums up to $15-20M
  • Ensures complete delivery of all client service activities by leading all aspects of service, such as renewals, coverage analysis, policy endorsements, audits, and claims coordination
  • Create and present detailed proposals and analyses to clients and prospects

Commercial Lines Experience

  • Maintains a deep understanding of complex coverages, including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, Cyber, and Specialty lines
  • Established relationships with key carriers and collaborating with underwriters to negotiate optimal terms
  • Managing the marketing and placement of new and renewal business

Business Support

  • Stay focused on market trends, industry regulations, and emerging risks relevant to operations 
  • Identify opportunities for coverage enhancements, risk mitigation, and program optimization

Leadership Opportunities

  • Consistent mentorship of junior team members while contributing to departmental best practices
  • Coordinate with and often lead internal teams, including Producers, Account Executives, and the Claims group, to ensure a seamless client service

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in managing large commercial accounts within a brokerage
  • Proficiency in Applied Epic (preferred)
  • Additional Certifications (i.e., CIC, AINS, CPCU, AU, ARM, CRM, CRIS, TRIP, CISR, etc.) (preferred)
  • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance license within the state of New Jersey (required)
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage complex accounts and competing demands with precision and calm
  • Highly self-directed professional who thrives with autonomy and takes full ownership of responsibilities and outcomes
  • Proactive, service-oriented mindset, anticipating client needs and addressing issues before they escalate
  • Uncompromising commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality, earning trust at the highest levels of client relationships
  • Bachelors degree (required)
