Overview

The Sales Operations Strategist is a critical member of the Sales Operations team, focused on leading high-impact strategic projects and leveraging advanced sales analytics to drive organizational efficiency. This role handles all aspects of project execution—from diagnosing performance gaps and designing workflows to building scalable tools and ensuring frontline adoption—while applying analytical rigor to sales and contact center data for operational excellence.

You will

Execute Sales Operations projects end-to-end, including process mapping, journey decomposition, workflow design, and operational readiness activities such as pilot design, experiment frameworks, and frontline adoption strategies.

Analyze sales and contact center performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities; perform qualitative and quantitative root cause analysis to diagnose and resolve performance gaps.

Deliver standardized and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Thoughtspot, Hex, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce (SFDC), and other BI tools; apply SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets models to support daily and weekly performance cycles.

Audit CRM and sales system workflows, assess agent behavior and adherence, and design and document workflows for inbound/outbound sales motions, contact routing, and telephony processes.

Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation; facilitate cross-functional workshops, conduct requirement gathering, and translate business needs into technical specifications for technology partners.

Facilitate cross functional workshops to drive alignment, resolve issues, and improve coordination across the sales to CX handoff.

Identify operational risks, design process measurement frameworks, and build efficiency models that evaluate workflow effectiveness and agent effort.

Serve as an embedded subject matter expert within day-to-day sales operations, supporting leaders and frontline teams.

Occasional travel may be required.

You have

5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a related field, with a track record of leading operational projects and driving process improvements in high-growth or high-volume environments.

Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, journey decomposition, and workflow design for high-velocity sales and contact center operations, including inbound/outbound motions and telephony analysis.

Strong background in cross-functional requirement gathering, CRM workflow auditing, SOP design, operational readiness planning, and change governance.

Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data modeling; intermediate to advanced SQL skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (Thoughtspot, Hex, Salesforce SFDC).

Skilled in cross functional facilitation, optimizing marketing to sales and sales to CX handoffs, and translating business requirements for technical teams.
