Position Summary
As a General Help/Lot Attendant within the Parts Department, you are instrumental in creating a positive customer experience by helping customers with parts, parts inventory and maintaining the appearance and functionality of our dealership lot and showroom. Your role involves ensuring that the lot presents an inviting atmosphere for our customers. Additionally, you will be called upon to assist with a variety of projects, including equipment delivery, light mechanical tasks, and freight handling.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist customers at the parts counter and showroom.
  • Maintain the condition of the dealership lot, including snow removal, mowing, grading, and arranging equipment for display as directed by the Sales Department.
  • Unload incoming freight and equipment, promptly noting and reporting any shipping damage or shortages.
  • Adhere to manufacturer's unloading procedures and safety protocols for outside carriers.
  • Bundle pallets and shipping stands for return to the manufacturer.
  • Conduct light-duty delivery of Turf Equipment, Small Ag, CWP, and headers as required.
  • Perform setup and mechanical work, including the assembly of Turf Equipment and tillage equipment.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the used oil heating system.
  • Assist with detailing equipment as necessary.
  • Fulfill other duties or projects assigned by Management.

Qualifications
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • High School diploma or GED, along with a Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and/or agricultural equipment.

Compensation
The following represents Brandt Holdings compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a hourly role with a starting base of $15.00 and going up to $30.00 based on experience.
