CW Financial Services LLC ("CW") is a premier and unique, full-service real-estate firm providing solutions to institutional clients across Commercial Real Estate Finance.
This position is part of a team that focuses on resolving non-performing multifamily loans in CW's Fannie Mae Loss Mitigation assignment. CW's role is to assess collateral properties both for physical condition and valuation, liaise with DUS lenders, enforce the exercise of remedies on defaulted loans, or otherwise restore loans to performing status.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform site inspections of collateral assets across the US with a view to understanding deferred maintenance, borrower/manager competence, property operations, and market conditions.
  • Review and evaluate third party reports, including Broker Price Opinions, Appraisals, and Property Condition Assessments.
  • Negotiate with borrowers to compel loan reinstatement, the remediation of deferred maintenance, and the resolution of other defaults.
  • Work with outside counsel to obtain court-appointed receivers over collateral properties, including providing testimony as to property condition and loan default status.
  • Work with court-appointed receivers to oversee third-party property managers, construction managers, and leasing agents.
  • Make recommendations as to asset stabilization paths or liquidation alternatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and agency requirements for assigned loans.
  • Communicate analysis and conclusions to Fannie Mae and CW leadership through written reports and direct interactions, including the use of CW's market-leading asset management software, RealINSIGHT.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Background in multifamily structured finance or commercial real estate.
  • Strong preference for Dallas-based candidate working out of CW's Irving (Las Colinas) office.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, special credits, or asset resolution.
  • Strong analytical and valuation skills with a focus on commercial multifamily assets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including when dealing with new markets.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

The base salary range for this role is provided in accordance with local regulations, but salary represents just one component of the total compensation package. Additional elements such as bonuses, overtime, deferred cash (where applicable), benefits, perks, and company contributions to 401(k) plans-often result in total compensation significantly exceeding the base salary. Compensation is influenced by individual performance, tenure, experience, geographic location, business unit needs, company performance, and market conditions.
